Excellent

Is what Jessie received on her beginning sewing project - both the judging and the construction parts.

So I am thrilled that I did not help her much at all!!!

We were at the judging last night from 5:45 to 9:15 last night. Of course though, tonight is the "style show" and apparently to find out how she placed, we need to go to that as well. So I know what we will be doing tonight. And she has decided she needs orange flip flops (she asked for orange high heels, which I shot down in a hurry) for tonight even though the judging is long over.
Have a great day everyone!
Kris

I bet your daughter is very excited about sewing! When I taught sewing to young girls they had the best time and were excited when an item was completed.

I remember well Rebekah's 4 H fashion show...........

It is amazing to me that we survived the shopping trip for shoes to match the eyelet dress with blue ribbon sash that she INSISTED would be easy.

Jessie looks fresh and lovely in her outfit...........

Excellent is right! Way to go, you did a wonderful job! And yes, flip flops over high heels...I have a 12 year old and oh boy...it's like push and pull regarding fashion around here sometimes! Heather

Goodness I've gotten behind! but I'm so glad I popped over here and picked up where I left off. I would not have wanted to miss hearing about Jessie's "excellent" success in her beginning sewing. It doesn't surprise me at all. She's not only her mother's daughter, but a smart, creative, industrious go getter of a young girl all on her own! Awesome, Jessie!
