Grilling

For a brief (very brief) moment I thought I would have to call 911. Then thought to get a pitcher of water to dump on it as the flames were up OVER the lid of the grill.

It would not look to well for a volunteer firefighter's wife to be calling 911 for a house fire, now would it?

But I saved the steaks. And did not burn the blueberry peach cobbler and the brownies that were in the oven. Which are now gone. I had to have 2 servings of each to calm my nerves, right?

That picture brings back a memory from a month ago...our bbq flashed when I was lighting it...and I lost a few eyelashes, eyebrows and bangs...but luckily that was it! It was scary though!

That looks like our bbq everytime my husband lights it!! You are definitely right - you needed extra of the cobbler and brownies to keep yourself calm. Just looking at that photo makes me want to start eating.

Hello!! I bet that was a little scary. Good thing you thought fast.
I'm happy to hear about your court case. I bet that was a stressful time. I hope you recorded the dance so you could post it later. ha ha!!

Well there's a little excitement for you. Like my dad always says "When it's smoking it's cooking when it's black it's done. Glad you were able to save everything.

Kris, regarding your comment on my blog about the chalkboard fabric, just follow the link to the shop's website and you can give them a call. We do a lot of orders online, but since this is a fabric cut, you're better off calling. Thanks!
