Teacher quilts Round 1

The first two teacher quilts were finished up last night about......10:00 p.m.

But I had to get up a little earlier this morning to trim threads and wrap them up.

And I stopped at Wal-mart this morning to buy goodies to fill the canvas bags that Tyler decorated (with Jessie's help).

I think they liked the tablecloths and aqua colored plastic dishes to use outside. I was hoping to make each of them something but.......time is in seriously short supply around here.

The last quilt was finished late this afternoon for the party tommorrow for Jessie's teacher. Then it will be back to my normal routine....with any luck.

The very best teacher gifts beautifully handmade. Awesome! They'll love them. And I like the canvas bags with the tablecloths and picnicware.

It's a busy time of the year for you, but exciting for all that you do. Sunshine and deep breaths. You'll rock and roll!

Happy Friday!

You made it! Good for you, well, and lucky teachers for sure.

Your kids have some very lucky teachers. In my 20+ years as a HeadStart teacher, the nicest gift I ever got was Tupperware! LOL I still have it and cherish it.
Thanks for your kind comment on my projects. I am kind of old to be beginning such things but I guess I am proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks!
Love your header-so pastural and serene. Love all your stories of life and the farm. I am green with envy of your youth and talent and lifestyle!
