A good blog buddy, Kristie, is starting an online yard sale. Her son, Andrew, has a fantastic opportunity to go on a 9 day trip to Paris (among other places) and they need to raise a significant sum of money for his trip.
If you are interested in supporting this cause - go here.
I get such a kick out of reading about her life - maybe because we are both so close in age, enjoy many of the same things.....
Anyhow, Todd may be in trouble with online yard sales starting up (although he is always telling me that he would prefer me to shop at yardsales:) I'm just following his wishes, right????

Hi Kris! I had a wonderful Saturday which started with a church garage sale. Nothing too exciting there, but I picked up a Hallmark Halloween Tree (fiberoptic) for $0.50, a wooden Halloween hanging thing for $0.50 and a couple of craft books. Next up we (my friend and I) hit a small town library book sale. I got 16 books for $4. Some of them great old finds. While in that small town, we hit several of their garage sales and I picked up several old complete sheet sets (some in fulls, I've always only found twins), several rag rugs (they sell at the farmer's market for $25, $35 and $45 - I got 5 of them for $1!), two old table cloths and several other things (I can't recall it all!) I hope you find some good buys at the yard sales you visit (including the on line one).
Lovely pictures in your more recent post. I love the pink rose bush.
online yard sales?????!!!!!???? I always thought that's what eBay was for, but ebay is SO expensive now. I'm going to have to look into online yard sales!!
