I'm color blind

Jessie and I went to JoAnn's last night - to get a bunch of little stuff to finish up some Christmas presents (web strapping, snaps, zippers, thread....you know, the boring stuff)

I needed black double fold bias binding - I grab 2 packs. As I'm working on the gift today (can't show a full picture - the person will know what it is) I realize - I grabbed a pack of black, and a pack of grey. DUH! So back to JoAnn's I'll go at some point.

But, I've gotten lots done today in addition to the gift above:

Jessie's Messenger Bag - except for the snaps. I'm not sure where to put them/if this needs snaps....

2 hot/cold therapy bags. I still need to fill the muslin liners with rice - but at the moment, I don't have enough rice in the house. And I need to make a fabric basket to store these in....

Next up is more quilted pillows, and Tyler's Messenger bag out of these fabrics:

Oh, and here's a picture of Jessie and Blair dressed up as little pilgrim girls:

And yes, you are seeing correctly - one of their little friends is making rabbit ears behind their heads.......

Stay warm!
Kris

Oh how funny! I wouldn't have noticed the rabbit ears if you hadn't mentioned it and just assumed it was something on the board behind them. Cute. They look great in their outfits. And I like the strap on Jessie's bag (what I had in mind when you mentioned it) and the fabrics for Tyler's. PERFECT! Because you've made a nice flap, I'm not sure you need snaps. Maybe put a few folders in there, sling it over your shoulder and walk with it to see if it opens? If not, I say you're good to go!

You are doing well on your gift list despite the grey bias tape. :)

The picture is so cute! I can't believe that you were able to costume the girls so quickly. Your gift list is coming right along!I have thought of making some of those rice bags..do they work well? They would be perfect little gifts. I love your messenger bag and the fabric for Tyler is perfect for a boy.

Great picture, I wouldn't notice bunny ears either, but I think it's the background.
I am inspired to move more quickly through my Christmas list. I checked the calendar yesterday and made a list according to days.
