TGIF

Looks like the rain is done here through next weekend - we are SO DOING the happy dance!! A few days of 30% chance, but that. is. it.

Todd is bringing me home 5 yards of mulch tomorrow. So I know what I will be doing this weekend.....weed and mulch......mulch and weed. Won't be near enough but.....it will get me started.

Jessie is at a Young Authors convention at the College of Wooster today. Only 39 kids out of 300+ from our school (grades 3, 4 and 5) were picked. I gave her money to buy one of his books....we'll see if she looses it.

I changed up my kitchen windowsill......I'll try and get a better picture after the sun goes down - those sunrises are killers on getting pictures......

Some of my flowers are blooming.....life is good.

And I'm off work at noon so I can go to the water garden nursery to buy the part for my water pump that I placed somewhere safe.......and some fish and some plants. Water gardening is so much easier than regular flower gardens.....hopefully by Sunday I'll have pictures of a finished pond, stream and bog filter!

Have a grand weekend everyone!
Kris

Rain...we all are hoping for rain. Those flowers will just pop up and bloom again after they got some rain water. Seeing forward to the finished pond pictures. Have a good weekend!

We haven't had rain since March...and it wasn't all that much! I can't wait to see the pond...I've always wanted one of those!

We are having lots of rain here too. Supposed to clear tomorrow but then rain again. If it ever gets over 68 degrees them maybe my flowers will start to grow.

I am looking forward to seeing the pictures of what you get done this weekend.

Rain, we have too much of it. Snow is just 1 hour north of us, a foot of it. This is the weekend we should be planting our garden...not going to happen.

Can't wait to see your water garden all done. Have a wonderful weekend.

TGIF -- that's exactly what I said to the kids as they were on their way out the door to meet the school bus. Thanks for sharing your beautiful flower pics and your new header is so quaint & so peaceful!

I hope you've had a beautiful Saturday and got all that you wanted accomplished. We had lovely weather here in NE Kansas too. No humidity, mid-upper 60's and a nice breeze. I wish every day were like this! Looking forward to pictures of the pond and the quilts for the teachers.
Are you familiar with the blog Happy Things?

I love the quilt she just recently posted about. She's got another one in her tutorials that I really like. Those bright colors are a lot of fun.
Have a great weekend!

How wonderful to have the sunrise in your kitchen window... and five yards of mulch waiting for you outside of the window, LOL! I hope your weekend was great.

I've enjoyed catching up this morning on what's going on at your place. You've been so busy with your farm and the kids. Did you get everything mulched? I've got some bags waiting to go in the flower beds as well. Another job on the list. Have a beautiful day! Hugs, Heather

So fun to have flowers blooming! But I have to tell you, I am so in love with the picture of your cows! It makes me want to pull up a chair on the porch and watch the clouds go by!
