And flying....
You can see here they like to be on the other side of the fence - until the scary human (namely me) comes in to mess with them!
And climbing...
Do I need to clip their wings? How do I do this? Hopefully tomorrow we will have the chicken run done enough they can go outside....

Love the chickens! I love to sit and watch my chickens! I just let mine run loose here on the farm they just go everywhere. Now my oldest son, Andrew, has his chickens but he has them in a coop. Don't you just love the farm life? I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I don't have any chickens, but the people across the street do!-does that count?:) I love the pictures and coming to your blog. I also love the horses in your previous post, I used to have horses, show them and miss them very much.
Don't you just Love Farm life?;o)
Hope you have a great wk.

Wow those chicks have grown quickly. I would love some chickens but I don't think Stanley would be too impressed. He freaks out if a sparrow comes in the garden.
Love and hugs Gina xxx
No, you don't need to clip their wings. They just do small, little flights. When you start ranging, they'll stay close to the coop. And the older, heavier they get, the less and less they "fly." They're looking good Kris!
oh, they are so cute. I love little chickens!
have i told you lately i'm so jealous that you have horses? i swear you are living my fantasy life!
