Where have I been?

I've been at play practice (the performance is on Sunday and this is going to be hysterical):

I've been canning venison (6 quarts so far - hopefully 12 more to go):

I've been at Tyler's school Christmas Party:

I've been making sugar cookies for Jessie's school party that was for today, until they canceled school. (OOPS - don't have a picture of the cut out cookies).

And we had calling hours last night for a friend's dad (again, no pictures).

I am so grateful it is Friday - I only have to work til noon, and then work Monday (8-2) and then I am done working until next year.

YIIIPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE!
Kris

P.S. And I have been tagged for a picture tag - I'll get to it this afternoon when I'm home from work:) Thanks guys!

Awww. So cute...the play, that is and the little Santa & Elf Hats. Looks like you've all been having a fun time. Enjoy yourself these holly days, holy days and enjoy your time off!

OK, I have to ask...canned venison? How do you do it? Do you process all the venison meat like this? I'm fascinated and really wonder how it makes the venison taste. I might have to goodle it. :) Wonder if that's on the net? I even yelled down to my hubby (who is on vacation, too, for the next couple of weeks...wish me luck in surviving it...he's usually gone about 40% of the work week. :D ) if he knew about it, how to do it. He said, "never heard of it." And we've hunted, had processed deer and eaten lots of venison before. WOW!

Peace & Joy to you! Ana :)

Love the canned venison. How do you do it? This would be a great idea for the deer hunting expiditions my hubby goes on. We usually just age and freeze it, oh and have salami made. But I have never before seen canning !!School has broken up now , last week we did all the end of school things too, I must blog again now my computer is away from that horrible virus.

I love the chicken photo in your header!!

Canning venison? I didn't know that was possible. I have no idea how to cook the stuff. When my husband brings it home from hunting I dread having to cook it. Its so gamey. Any tips??
