Do I get points for admitting that I can be the most un-organized person around?
This is my fabric stash:
And this chest is full of specialty fabrics (fur for the bear costume I made for Tyler for Halloween 1 year, and who all knows what else).
And about 1/2 of this is projects in the works, that I have everyintention of doing, just I can NEVER find the pieces for each of these projects. Part of the problem is, I have a double bed in my sewing/computer room. Yes, I have 1 bedroom sized room that I can spread out it. No one ever comes to visit (well, hardly ever) and I tend to spread out and use the bed as my great big storage counter.
So tonight, I'm organizing. And NO. NEW. PROJECTS. until I get some stuff done.
Because, ironically, I am the one that CANNOT work in chaos.
Go figure....

Isn't it Murphy's Law or something that the more room we have to spread out, the more chaos? It's totally why I wanted to downsize with my last move! The happy news for you is that you HAVE all the pieces and just have to get your hands and eyes on them. Good luck with the organizing and getting to those projects. You've companions out here in blogland doing the same!
Good luck with the organisation! I find as soon as I reorganise it gets messy again - but I do love how it looks for the short periods of time between projects.
I can't work in chaos either, but my sewing room is exactly that. I'm envious of those who are always neat and organized!! lol!

I've posted the same subject on my blog few days ago. I'm not good at keep my sewing room clean, either. Everything is everywhere and I can't find anything I need to use now!! A few things are going on at the same time and so on...
Hope you will be able to finish some of those UFOs eventually!!

good for you..i organized tonight too, but mostly to avoid basting a quilt.
