I am so cold. It's 17 right now, and we are under a severe winter storm warning starting tonight at 5:00 p.m. and running through 4:00 p.m. Wednesday with an expected 6-10 inches of snow. Anyone else want to bet the kids don't have school tomorrow?
Anyhow, tomorrow is a court hearing with our neighbor. Honestly. I worked in a law office for 15 years, and this beats any case I'd ever seen. Todd or I do not need to be there, but I'm going. I want to hear his reasoning on why he is sueing us and just what he wants us to do.
And I did get another finish for the month of January:
I've had the runner done for some months now.....just needed to hand stitch the gold stars down. But it is done and I'm happy with it.
And this picture - last night Tyler was dancing and singing to Rodney Atkins on his walkie talkie - I had to show it just cause he's so cute.
See everyone later! Stay warm!
Kris
PS - I've received a couple awards from some wonderful blogging buddies. I'll be back later to post about them! Thanks so much ladies!

love and hugs Gina xxx
That little Tyler is a CUTIE!
I love the tablerunner too. what pattern is that?
Yup, definitely a blackmail picture! And of course, shorts and no shirt in the middle of winter! Reminds me of mine.

Stay Warm! We've got a winter storm warning in North Texas, too, just not that bad. Mostly ice is expected. My commute home this afternoon should be soooo much fun!
Best of luck to you tomorrow. I'll be interested to hear what you find out!
What is it with some people?? They move to the country and expect the "City"...of course you have cows and chickens!! Good Luck...Loved the table runner!!!

Good luck Kris, and keep us posted! xoxox
Let us know how it goes! The table runner is cute! I also agree that is a photo to hold on to.:)
Stay warm. Cute picture of Tyler.
Kris,
Honestly? People perplex me. I don't understand how and why one would purposefully, willfully choose to bring chaos and pain to another. May all go well tomorrow. I hope the case is not only thrown out of court, but that the plaintiff would have to pay your legal fees and any other expenses you've incurred in what feels like a ridiculous mess.
The table runner is fun! Congrats on another great finish.
And thankfully you know the joy and laughter of your children. They teach us perspective, don't they!
Spring must soon be around the corner. Hope this is the last of the really bad weather you'll know this winter.
Ana :)
I have been involved with exactly one court case and I have nothing nice to say about it. I'd go hear what's going on as well...sorry it's going on at all.
We're snowed in somewhat too...now we have ice coming! I hope you miss that fun!
hey kris, congrats on the table runner finish. looks great. i left you a comment to your comment over on my blog but i thought i'd pop in here and let you know i don't need eggs but i have some empty cartons if you could use those. just pop me a line and we can arrange something if you need them. if i think of any other good stores around that aren't wal-mart, i'll let you know. stay warm and be careful if you're out tomorrow. take care.
stay warm Kris.
Very cute. I liked your January project. I can understand about you being cold we are at 15 degrees here in the Uintah Basin of Utah. We started out this morning at -4. So, I feel your coldness here too.
Have a great day. Can't wait to see what awards you got.
love that table runner, great job done. Good luck tomorrow with the court case........
GIll in Canada
Good luck with your law suit. I have a paralegal certificate from Loyola University and worked as a paralegal for a short time. It was very interesting work...sometimes the law suits I read were jaw droppingly ridiculous. Preparing answers to the complaints were sometimes a lot of fun, though!!
Goodness, 17 degrees and your son is in shorts!!!! That makes me cold just looking at him.
Love the table runner ~ we're sharing your snowstorm...30 cm here which is about 12 inches.
Fun, huh?
